Echo helps seven water companies prepare for Open Water with MOSL certification...
Seven water companies including: Anglian Water Business; Source for Business; South Staffs Water; South West Water; Three Sixty (born out of Yorkshire Water); and Water2Business, have passed MOSL’s Market Entry Acceptance Testing (MEAT), with the help of Echo's RapidXtra software.
We have worked closely with these companies as part of their user acceptance testing programmes over the past few months, to ensure that each company’s billing system is capable of communicating with the market, ahead of non-household opening next April. This included ensuring that the MOSL defined MEAT scenarios were successfully completed.
Echo currently works with 15 of the 21 current water companies in the English market, providing a variety of outsourced services including customer contact, billing software services, and debt collection.
“The hard work we’ve put into our retail-ready programme over the past few months has paid off, and we’re delighted to have helped our clients to become successfully certified with our RapidXtra software – designed specifically for the water market."
Andy Mack, software services director
The past few months have seen Echo work closely in partnership with our clients to proactively support them successfully through the market assurance testing phase. We’ll now remain on hand for further support during this crucial phase for lots of our clients as they enter into shadow operations ahead of full market go-live in April 2017.
Ends.
