We're pleased to announce our appointment by the Electoral Commission to provide customer service support in the run up to the UK elections in May.
The Electoral Commission will launch a public awareness campaign to encourage people to register to vote in this year's elections. All enquiries for the various UK elections taking place in May will be directed towards a single helpline which we at Echo will manage. This is the fifth year in a row that Echo will be responsible for handling all manner of customer enquiries about the registration and voting process and what's involved in the run up to the elections.
We will deploy a core campaign team to fulfil regular demand, supplemented with additional experienced advisors to deliver an agile operating model to effectively manage the shifting volume of enquiries associated with the key stages of the campaign.
"We've worked with the Electoral Commission since 2011 and will deliver our tried and tested model to provide outstanding customer support. We're thrilled to have been awarded the contract again as it demonstrates our continued success in delivering excellent customer service, driving positive results and forging strong collaborative relationships with clients."
Karen Banfield, contact centre director, Echo Managed Services
"It's essential that members of the public who have questions about how to register or cast their vote with confidence receive informed responses. With elections taking place across the country in May, we have awarded Echo this contract to handle the wide range of enquiries we anticipate the helpline will recieve."
Spokesperson, The Electoral Commission
