Our people are our most valuable asset so helping them to develop their skills and progress their careers is a cornerstone of Echo’s long term business strategy. To help our frontline leaders realise their goals we’ve launched the “ACE” programme. Standing for “Advanced Capability in Echo”, ACE is designed to enhance the leadership qualities of frontline leaders, building on their existing skills and capabilities to encourage collaboration across the business.
Development activities take place over a period of eight months, with core modules designed around our established competency framework which focuses on leadership behaviours. These activities are a blend of classroom, online and group project work, which give colleagues from our offices in Walsall, Belfast, and India the opportunity to share the experience and learn from each other.
When they graduate, these frontline leaders will have embedded qualities to help improve employee engagement, and they will have built their own networks to increase knowledge transfer across the business to support our ambitious growth plans.
We’re committed to encouraging internal career progression and personal development across the business, so the ACE programme is constantly under review to ensure we’re providing the best skills training in the sector.
